It can be moved directly from a freezer to a microwave. Duralex hardened glass will endure a fall on the ground, which has been tested and confirmed by the manufacturer. When broken, it shatters into powder. Duralex is a French brand very recognizable on the market, with a long history. They control quality of their products all the time.
